We are John and Isabel Horton, Missionaries sent out of the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, TX where Brother Jimmy McNeil is pastor. Since 1993 we've served in "Northern" Brazil as second generation, church planters. In 2018 God moved us to Arlington, TX where He gave me the privilidge of serving as "Assistant Mission Director" for the WBF Mission Agency. These past six and a half years serving as Assistant Mission Director at the WBF Mission Agency has been a blessed season of learning and assistance to churches and missionaries, and we are grateful to God for the opportunity He gave us.

Now FULLY INDIGINOUS, the Bible Baptist Institute of the North is a tool that has been used of God to help many local churches prepare the called of God for the Gospel ministry.
Isa and I made a decision, when we first began our ministry in Brazil, never to turn our backs on the works God used us to start or to take part in, and we have decided to partner with them financially for as long as the Lord provides. Please pray for the Bible Baptist Institute of the North as they seek to serve local Churches and the Lord in "Northern" Brazil!
Isa and I believe that a good, solid, local Church ran Bible Institute is key to the preparation of those called of God into the Gospel ministry.

For over 25 years. Isabel and I have worked and directed dozens of youth and childrens camps in Brazil.
Camps are a blessing and a tremendous tool to local churches. Many children, young people and adults have come to know the Lord as Savior and decisions made for Christ as well, through this ministry, including my wife Isabel! Isa and I partner with them financially as well, for as long as the Lord provides.
Our desire is to be of assistance to our Brazilian churches in the family camp ministry.
